A selector of the national team told the Indian cricket media Cricbuzz on Friday (November 8).

On Mushfiq's injury, the selector told Cricbuzz, 'Mushfiq will not play against West Indies as he will need a month or more to recover. It has not yet been decided whether he will play in ODIs on that tour. I have time.'

The West Indies tour is going to be a full-fledged tour later this month. Which means Bangladesh team will play in all three formats in this tour. After starting the tour with a two-Test series, three ODIs and T20Is are scheduled to be played.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraj said about Mushfiqur not being available for the next two ODIs against Afghanistan, "Mushfiqur brother's issue is sad, he got injured. We all know how important Mushfiq Bhai is to the team. Because the way he played cricket, the service he gave was extraordinary.
