Dua is originally an Arabic word. It means prayer. Dua in Islam means prayer to God.

Deepika-Ranveer's daughter's Arabic name has caused the Hindutva fanatics to burn. One of them wrote, 'Why not prayer, why dua? Why not Hindi, why Urdu???'

Another social media user wrote, 'You are a traditionalist. But only in name?'

Although Deepika-Ranveer did not open their mouths about the criticism, many social media users also responded to the staunch Hindutva. An X user named Eps reposted a post about this and wrote, 'Religious extremism is actually a disease.'

Another X user named Tarun Gautam wrote, 'Arjun videographer from Uttar Pradesh is angry that Deepika-Ranbir made dua without mentioning their daughter's name. But he doesn't even know how to spell the word prayer properly.'
