An old man's left leg was amputated in a landmine explosion at the border of Ghumdhum in Naikxyongchari upazila of Bandarban hill district on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border.

An old man's left leg was amputated in a landmine blast on the zero line of Bhajabaniyasth border in Ghumdhum Union Ward No. 3 on Friday afternoon.
A local resident of Vajabaniya area said that after the Friday prayer, when there was a sudden loud noise, the locals saw an old man crying at that place. Anu of Bhajabaniya along with some injured elderly Nurul Haque were rescued and taken to Kutupalong MSF Hospital in CNG. The explosion took place between pillars 33-34 of Ghumdhum border.
