BNP made a new history in Dasmina upazila of Patuakhali-3 constituency, which is known as the stronghold of Awami League. BNP created a new history through the public meeting organized by Upazila BNP on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day at Dasmina Government Model Secondary School grounds on Friday afternoon.

A new history was born through the presence of thousands of ordinary people and activists as BNP National Executive Committee member Hasan Mamun was the main attraction in the public meeting. People of this upazila have not seen the presence of so many people in public meeting of any political party after independence. As there was no place to catch moles in the huge field, common people and activists stood on the road and listened to Hasan Mamun's speech.

It is known that on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day, the Upazila BNP organized a public meeting in Dasmina Government Model Secondary School grounds. Upazila BNP president Abdul Alim Talukder presided over as the chief guest and the former president of the Dhaka University Chhatra Dal and member of the national executive committee of BNP Hasan Mamun was the chief guest.

Hasan Mamun said in his speech that the party will nominate whoever the common people of the area want. Just as the common people have faith in the party, the party has faith in the common people.

He said that after the fall of the Awami League government, there was no violence or torture of minorities in Galachipa-Dashmina.
