When the first part of the rally reached Manik Mia Avenue, the last part of the activists were still at Shapla Chattar in Motijheel. BNP organized the rally on Friday, a day later as the office opened on Thursday, the day of the historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day. During the Awami League government, the party held several rallies from Nayapaltan to Shantinagar Junction with the permission of the police. In addition to Dhaka city, leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates and affiliated organizations from Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Tangail, Narsingdi participated. Especially the presence of Juba Dal, Chhatra Dal, Krishak Dal and Swachchasevak Dal was noticeable. Also, leaders and activists of professional organizations including DAB also participated. At that time, the leaders and activists had rice grain patterns, national flags and party flags in their hands. There were also various banners and placards with pictures of party founder Ziaur Rahman, current chairperson Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tariq Rahman.

Tariq Rahman, acting chairman of the party, inaugurated the party virtually from a temporary stage in front of the central office of Nayapaltan around 3:30 pm. Later the rally started around 4 pm. To the beat of patriotic songs, baul songs and drums and chanting slogans on the mic, the rally ended at Manik Mia Avenue via Kakrail Mor-Kakrail Mosque-Matsya Bhavan-Engineers Institution-Shahbagh-Hotel Intercontinental-Bangla Motor-Kowran Bazar-Farmgate. During the rally, thousands of people on both sides of the road applauded and congratulated the BNP leaders and workers. The leaders responded to the audience's greetings by raising their hands. Members of the Standing Committee along with the Secretary General of BNP took part in the procession in an open truck. However, when the first part of the rally reached Manik Mia Avenue around 7 in the evening, the leaders and activists in the last part were still seen at Shapla Chattar in Motijheel. The historic rally ended with the closing speech of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.


Gazipur Metropolitan BNP worker Zahidul Islam, who participated in the rally, said that after a long time, this program is being held in a free environment without obstacles. People were in prison for 16 years of the previous government. Couldn't even speak, couldn't vote. Now the government has expectations, people want to vote now. That is why quick election measures are taken.

Rahima Akhter of Mahila Dal from Manikganj said that the rally is proof that the party is united under the leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman. No matter how many conspiracies, BNP will fight it with the people.

At the end of the rally, the youth, volunteers and Chhatra Dal leaders and activists cleaned the garbage on the road from Motijheel to Manik Mia Avenue. A Chhatra Dal leader said that packets, empty bottles of water and other types of garbage were lying on the road around the rally. It was cleared on the instructions of the Acting Chairman. Arifur Rahman Tushar, the leader of the volunteer group, said that the leaders and activists of the rickshaw-workers organization also cleaned the road.
