Masud Saidi, son of late Allama Delawar Hossain Saidi and former Chairman of Zianagar Upazila, said that Sheikh Hasina has thrown herself into the abyss of history by not giving importance to anyone's way and opinion and by torturing and suppressing the opposition camp with the aim of creating a dictatorship in the country.

He said these things in his speech as the chief guest in an exchange meeting with media workers of print and electronic media of the district at Pirojpur Press Club on Friday afternoon ahead of the National Assembly elections.

Masud Saeedi said that due to the corruption of a handful of political party leaders in the country, 18 crore people are now suffering unbearable hardships. As the rotting of a fish starts from the head, so the rotting of some political parties has started from their head; As a result of which the condition of the country has become fragile today.

He said that in the last 15 years, the common people were gasping because of the misrule and torture of the Awami League in the country. In those few years, the fundamental rights of the people were completely destroyed, the collapse of the party was inevitable due to political vendetta. Therefore, we have to come out of the degradation of our values, forget the past and leave a beautiful world for the future and future generations, this leader thinks that politicians and all of us should wish.

He also said that in the last 15 years there has been no visible development in Pirojpur except two buildings each. Infrastructural development is not only the desire of the people, but qualitative and fundamental development is also needed. Ultimately, it is our hope to make Pirojpur district a modern, developed and dream district.
