Zoom-Bangla Desk: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 64 thousand pieces of narcotic tapentadol tablets in Comilla. The estimated value of these intoxicating tablets is one crore 58 lakh taka. However, no drug dealer could be arrested.

On Friday (November 8) afternoon, the tablets were seized in a raid in Tikkachar area bordering Comilla's Adarsh Sadar Upazila.
According to the press release, 60 BGB members conducted an operation in Tikkachar area of Adarsh Sadar Upazila on Friday afternoon based on secret information. At that time, the drug dealers left a private car carrying drugs and fled after realizing the position of BGB. The private car was searched and 64,000 pieces of addictive Indian tapentadol tablets were seized. Legal action is under process in this regard.
