Jumbangla Desk: The District Detective Police (DB) has seized a covered van loaded with illegal Indian cosmetics and other products smuggled in at Shivpur in Narsingdi. Meanwhile, the driver Jasim (45) and the owner Mukul Mia (57) of the curved van were arrested.

The two persons along with the covered van were arrested from the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Ghasidiya area of ​​the upazila around 12 o'clock on Wednesday night .
The arrested Jasim Uddin is the son of Idris Khan of Kathaltali village of Barguna Sadar upazila and Karvad van owner Mukul Mia is the son of Abdul Halim of Tabalkhali village of Sharankhola upazila of Bagehat.

Narsingdi DB Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Kamruzzaman confirmed the truth of the incident and said that during initial interrogation,
the arrested said that they were taking the duty evading goods from Sunamganj's Shantiganj area to Dhaka's Chawkbazar. A mobile rental agreement was made with a person from Chowkbazar named Parvez. He said that a case will be filed against the detained persons according to the existing law.
