Entertainment Desk: All the songs, slogans or other activities centered around the July movement which accelerated the coup, today, considering the adverse moments after the victory, a program titled 'Awaaz Uda' was held with the songs of that time. Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organized this program on Friday (November 8) at 6 o'clock at Nandanmanch with the song of mass uprising.

 

Mehzabeen Rahman, Director of Music, Dance and Recitation Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy gave a welcome speech at the beginning of this event under the management of Music, Dance and Recitation Department of the Academy.

He said, this organization of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy is to celebrate the Bangladesh that we got through the coup.

Shamsi Ara Zaman (mother of Shaheed Tahir Zaman Priya in the anti-discrimination student movement) gave a speech as a special guest. He expressed his feelings about the sacrifice of his child in the July movement. Mohammad Ashraful, who participated in the anti-discrimination movement and was physically affected, gave a speech. He highlighted the feelings of the July movement.

Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy said in the discussion program. Syed Jamil Ahmed said, Bangladesh knows how to protest injustice, we want a country of thousand plateaus, all opinions, all ways, all perspectives, all languages, we want Pahari, Bengali, Adivasi, we want Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian all. Let's build such a country together. We have put their songs in today's program to honor the tribals.


The director general also said that Shilpakala Academy wants people-friendly art work, not to hold seminars inside the house, but to present your songs among you. We want to highlight art at the center of society. We want to celebrate life within our pain. We want to reach the desired goal of Bangladesh without discrimination.

At the beginning of the cultural performance in this event on Friday, the singers of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy performed the ensemble song 'Chala Chal Chal'. Democracy Clown performed the ensemble songs 'Amra Karbo Joy' and 'Neel Nirbas'. Then artist Lumbini Chakma 'Song of Chakma language'; Dharmachandra Tanchajna Santosh 'Songs of Tanchajna Language'; Duke Murmu 'Songs in the Santal Language'; Samapan Small performed 'Garo Language Song'.

Ahmed Hasan Sani performed a solo song and the band sang 'Adivasi Song' in F minor. Rap music was performed by Jin Brothers and Hannan Hossain Shimul and his team.

At the end of the program, the singers of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will perform the ensemble song 'Mora Jhanjha Kay Uddam'.

Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has named the program 'Awaz Uda' in the light of one of the most popular songs of the mass uprising, 'Awaz Uda'. At that time rapper Hannan Hossain Shimul's 'Awaaz Uda' i.e. raising voice has now become a victory, that's why this organization of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy to further spread the victory of mass uprising under the slogan 'Awaz Uda'.
