Talking about Tahir Zaman Priya's mother said, her son used to read a lot of books.
He used to keep the news of the country and the world. He was vocal against injustice. The dream was to make films. Three days after the burial of Tahir Zaman Priya, a large number of policemen entered their house in Rangpur by breaking the door at 3 am, said Shamsi Ara Zaman.
The police did not say anything about why they had come. But Shamsi Ara Zaman thinks that the police came to scare him. After a few days, the news came that the police might pick him up too. He said that he had to live in fear with his little granddaughter and 9-year-old daughter.
Talking about Priya's four-year-old daughter, she said, “I take my little grandson to school, when I see a police car in front and he stands in the rickshaw and says, 'You have killed my father! You are not good, rotten!' I was surprised to hear his words. As the rickshaw moved forward, the army men said, "We didn't kill your father."
Shamsi Ara Zaman said, one day he went somewhere with the girl. There two police officers entered the hotel. Seeing this, Tahir's daughter also wants to go after the police. If you want to know why you are going, say, ' I will ask them why they killed my father. My beloved father does not come to me. Dear father will take me for a walk.'
Shamsi Ara Zaman said that Padmapriya Parmita, daughter of Tahir Zaman Priya, cried a lot the day before she came to Dhaka. Weeping, she was saying, 'I will go to my dear father. I will bring dear father. Dear father does not take me anymore.'
Shamsi Ara Zaman said the girl told everyone that her beloved father had died. But sometimes he himself does not want to understand that father is no more. He burst into tears while talking about his son and grandson.
