Chief Adviser Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has warned that if Awami League tries to hold a rally, it will be suppressed with strict hands.
He gave this warning in a status on social media Facebook on Saturday (November 9).
Shafiqul Alam wrote in a Facebook post that Awami League is currently a fascist party. This fascist party will not be allowed to hold any kind of protest rally in Bangladesh. The law and order forces will take action with full force against those who want to organize rallies, processions or meetings under the orders of the genocidal and dictator Sheikh Hasina.
He said that the interim government will not tolerate any kind of violence or attempts to worsen the law and order situation in the country.
Meanwhile, Shafiqul Alam said in a seminar organized at National Press Club on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. under the title of 'I want a safe Bangladesh', 'Chatra League was against the students' movement in July-August. Chhatra League has created the rhetoric of fascism. They held the entire nation hostage. It created disparity in employment. Deprives ordinary boys and girls from the opportunity to get jobs. If we want to make Bangladesh safe, we need to make the school safe. Terrorism must be eliminated in the educational environment.'
Incidentally, Awami League has called to gather at zero point in capital Dhaka on November 10 to restore democracy. The call was made in two related posts on the party's official Facebook page on Saturday (November 9).
