Currently, various smartphone companies have started giving more importance to the camera in their phones. As a result, high-end smartphones have started to take the place of digital cameras. But the iPhone has long had a reputation for taking better pictures than other phones. iPhone users can take better pictures if they adopt a few tricks.
According to a report by tech-based website PCMag, Apple usually brings new features to new models. Besides, the company improves the camera hardware. However, some features are limited to certain models.
Meanwhile, a special camera control button has been added to the iPhone 16 model. Which makes it easy to set up and take pictures. Besides, the Pro and Pro Max Premium models have many more features. All in all, it is possible to take good photos on iPhone if you adopt some tricks. The strategies are:
1- Navigate photo mode
Navigating photo mode is essential to taking good pictures. To test the phone's camera mode, open the camera, place two fingers on the screen, spread or fold it to zoom in and out, or tap preset optical zoom settings. Manual zoom control is available by pressing and holding preset zoom settings. Everything should be fixed and the camera should be placed correctly.
2- Toolbar feature
The toolbar below will help you control specific settings in Photo, Portrait, Slow-mo, Time-lapse, or Spatial modes. For this, tap on the arrow icon at the top of the screen or swipe up from the bottom of the camera screen.
However, no matter which mode you are in, the toolbar will usually have six icons. Like – Flash, Live Photo, Exposure, Aspect Ratio, Night Mode and Self Timer (which will help you take photos within 3 or 10 seconds). By tapping on each icon you can turn it on or off or adjust it with the slider.
3- Use of slo-mo mode
It is possible to make beautiful videos using the camera's slo-mo mode. This will make any action look slower. Tap the rotation icon to switch between the front and rear cameras. You can switch between 120 and 240 frames per second by tapping the number on the screen. Tap the shutter button to start and stop the video, or swipe right to lock it. You can also zoom in and out while recording.
4- Take pictures quickly
Focus the subject to take the picture and if everything is fine you can quickly take the picture. For this, it is possible to get a good picture by taking several pictures in a row. Brings an easy way to quickly take lots of photos on iPhone. For this Burst Shot must be activated. First go to Settings > Camera and turn on the 'Use Volume up for Burst' and 'Prioritize Faster Shooting' options. Tap the shutter button on the left or use the volume up button to quickly take multiple photos. You can also take pictures by tapping the shutter button one after the other.
5- Panoramic picture in pano mode
You can take panoramic photos of a wide scene by turning on the Pano mode. Tap the shutter button to take a panoramic photo and slowly rotate your phone around according to the on-screen instructions until the entire scene is captured. Hold the phone steady and level and keep it as straight as possible with the arrow on the horizontal line. Everything will come together into a big picture.
6- Set your flash options
While in photo, portrait, or slo-mo mode, you can turn the flash on or off by tapping the power icon in the top toolbar. Some models have an option to set the flash to automatic. Because if there is not enough natural light to take pictures, it will turn on by itself. So before taking pictures you have to pay attention to the light.
7- Take pictures of small objects with macro control
Many people like to take pictures of small objects with a camera. Better to use macro control for this. iPhone 13 Pro and later models have macro controls in photo mode. With which you can take pictures of small and close objects.
Open the camera to turn on macro controls. Then a yellow flower icon will appear on the left side. Tap that icon to turn macro control on or off. If you don't see the macro icon on the screen while taking a picture of a small object, then go to Settings and go to the Camera option, then turn on the switch next to Macro Control.
