Today many things have changed in the political context of the country. Which has an impact on the entertainment world as well. All kinds of shooting was almost stopped due to political unrest. As a result, many have become unemployed. Among them, Ripon is one of the loudest. At the moment, he sells vegetables in a van in Dhaka's Uttara area to support his family.

Ripon once worked as a production manager for a film shoot. But now as there is no shooting, he is forced to sell vegetables for livelihood.

Ripon said, I have been working in the media for 25 years. I never thought that this bad time will come in life, I will be unemployed! Having to live in poverty with family. Production managers have no accreditation. There is no one to watch. Now hawkers have also increased. It is difficult to survive here too.

Apart from Ripon, production manager Kamrul said, I still have to struggle with four children. Live a life you never imagined. I am in a very bad condition.

Production manager Abdul said, I am in a worse condition than during the Corona period. Many have helped then. I bought baby milk. I have eaten Dalbhat myself. But now there is no one to listen to the grief.

Meanwhile, according to the Production Managers Association of Bangladesh, their members are 250 people. But 20-30 people have work in turn. Most of the rest are now unemployed. To run the family, some of them have engaged in various professions, including tea-drinking, selling pastries, and driving motorcycles for rent.

President of Production Manager Association of Bangladesh. Abu Zafar said that more than 80 percent of the members of the organization are unemployed. No work at all since July. All the sectors are going well but the production team is still waiting to get back to full shooting.
