The visiting India won the first T20 against South Africa in Durban by a landslide. Sanju Samson's century scored 202 runs at the cost of 8 wickets in the over. In response, the Proteas were bowled out for 141 runs. Suryakumar Yadav's team won the match by a huge margin of 61 runs. India has overtaken Uganda in T20 after such a big win.

This year the world champions have won 22 out of 23 T20 matches so far. Two of these wins came in Super Overs. And the only loss was against Zimbabwe. So far India's match winning rate is 95.6 percent. Which surpassed all previous records.

Earlier, Uganda won 33 T20Is last year. Whereas their rate in 29 wins is 87.9 percent. It was a record in both the number of wins and the win rate. India has overtaken Uganda in terms of winning percentage this time. However, the record of winning the match remains with Uganda. Because India will play 26 T20 matches in total this year.
