Earlier on October 30, the women's team defeated Nepal 2-1 on their soil to win the SAFF Championship. Then they were welcomed in the country in an open-top bus. One crore taka was given to the women's team as a prize by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bangladesh. Along with that, Bangladesh Cricket Board also gives financial rewards to girls.
