Saudi tourism authorities said they have unveiled the beta version of the Sara app. As a result, visitors can take female companions as guides while traveling in the country. It was unveiled at the Walled Travel Market exhibition in London this week.

According to media reports, the AI-powered service will introduce digital women guides. The guide is deeply knowledgeable about Saudi Arabia and can provide insight and advice on the country's tourist destinations, historical monuments, archaeological sites, cultural diversity, international events and other matters of interest to visitors.
Named Sara, the app was showcased at the Saudi Pavilion at the Walled Travel Market. This exhibition which started from last Monday ended on Wednesday.

Officials said it was able to establish direct contact with the participants in the exhibition. As a result, they were impressed with the extensive information the app provided on their interests and experiences in the Saudi tourism sector.
