Jumbangla Desk: Winter has arrived in nature. Meteorological Department has said that this year severe cold flow is coming. Meanwhile, the temperature of the country may drop to 4 degrees Celsius, said the Meteorological Office. This information was reported in the long-term forecast on Saturday (November 9).

According to the Met Office, from this month to next January, 8 to 10 mild (8-10 degrees Celsius) to moderate (6-8 degrees Celsius) cold currents may flow in the country. However, there may be 2 to 3 severe cold fronts in northwest, northeast and central regions. During this time, the minimum temperature of the country may drop to 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.

According to the agency, in addition to winter, from late night to morning, moderate or dense fog may fall in the north, northwestern, central and river basins of the country and light or moderate fog elsewhere. Dense fog may reduce the difference in day and night temperatures and increase the feeling of winter, the Meteorological Department said.

The country has a glimpse of normal rainfall ahead of the severe winter. At this time, 2 to 5 low pressures may develop in the Bay of Bengal, out of which 1-2 may develop into depressions and cyclones. Day and night temperatures may gradually decrease during this time. However, day and night temperatures may be slightly higher than normal.
