Jumbangla Desk: The police have arrested 15 leaders and activists of Awami League and allied organizations in the case of killing and attacking anti-discrimination student movement in Feni. They were sent to jail by the court on Sunday (November 10) afternoon.

Feni Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Maram Singh Tripura confirmed the matter at night. He said that 15 accused were arrested from different places of the district during raids on Saturday and Sunday.
The arrested accused are – District Awami League Joint General Secretary Haji Abdul Karim (65), Feni Sadar Upazila Awami League Executive Member Md. Abul Kalam (50), Lemua Union Awami League Vice President Ayub Ahmed Ansari (52), Fazilpur Union Krishak League President Abul Khair (67), Panchgachia Union Ward No. 9 Awami League President Khayez Ahmed (45), Motbi Union Ward No. 2 Awami League Vice President Abdul Karim (52), Fazilpur Union Jubo League Vice President Delwar Hossain Biplab Patwari (45), Feni Municipality Ward No. 13 Jubo League Vice President Jobair Hossain Mahim, Panchgachia Union Ward No. 4 Jubo League Organizing Secretary Kazi Shariat Uliah Jewell (35), Chhatra League President No. 9 Ward of Chithlia Union of Parshuram Upazila. Abdul Motaleb Prakash Shakib (20), Parshuram Municipal Chhatra League Organizing Secretary Mahadi Hasan (20), Parashuram Sramik League former vice-president Abul Kalam Prakash Kala Mia (48), Sadar Upazila Fazilpur No. 5 Ward Jubo League President Jasim Uddin (39), Dhalia Union Awami. League leader Md. Idris Munshi (35) and Ziaul Haque Ripon (45).
Police Superintendent of Feni. Habibur Rahman said that the police operation will continue to catch any kind of criminals.
