Jumbangla Desk: The offices of six advisors of the interim government have been redistributed. Among them, two advisers have reduced their duties. The ministries of the three have been swapped, the responsibilities have not decreased.
Besides, Advisor Ali Imam Majumder attached to the Office of the Chief Advisor has been given the responsibility of a ministry.
On Sunday (November 10), a notification was issued by the Cabinet Division allotting offices to newly sworn-in advisers and redistributing old ones.
Saleh Uddin Ahmed's responsibility has decreased. Although earlier he was in charge of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce, now he will only serve as an advisor to the Ministry of Finance.
The new adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin has received the responsibility of the Ministry of Commerce.
Adviser Asif Nazrul's responsibilities have also reduced somewhat. He no longer has to handle the Ministry of Culture. New advisor Mustafa Saryar Faruqi has been given the responsibility of this ministry.
Adviser AF Hasan Arif has two ministries as before. Earlier he handled the responsibilities of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and Ministry of Lands. Now the Ministry of Lands is under him, but instead of the Ministry of Local Government, he has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan was the adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Now the Ministry of Youth and Sports is under him, instead of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, he has got the responsibility of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.
Brigadier General (Retd.) M Sakhawat Hossain will henceforth serve as an advisor to the Ministry of Shipping and the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Earlier, the Ministry of Textiles and Jute and the Ministry of Shipping were under him.
Adviser Ali Imam Majumder was earlier attached to the office of Chief Adviser. Now he has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Food.
