Jumbangla Desk: The organizational suspension of Shahidul Islam Babul, general secretary of Jatiyatavadi Krishakdal, has been revoked. Shahidul Islam Babul is a BNP nominee from Faridpur-2 (Saltha-Nagarkanda) constituency.

This information was given in a press release signed by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday (November 10).

It mentioned that on August 21, you were suspended from all levels of BNP, including the post of general secretary of Bangladesh Jatiyatavadi Krishak Dal, for creating conflict and chaos in Nagarkanda Upazila of Faridpur. The suspension of all your posts has been withdrawn as per instructions. However, you are strongly cautioned to avoid any repetition of such violent incidents as mentioned above. The team hopes that you will be devoted to the principles, discipline and responsibilities of the team from now on.

In this regard, Shahidul Islam Babul told Banglanews that I was suspended from the party post due to an unexpected incident. The party has again withdrawn the post suspension considering my political career and everything. I am grateful to the party for that. A lot of thanks and love to Tariq Rahman, acting chairman of the party.

He said, it was a downfall for me in political life. I am indebted to the people of the country, including my constituency, because they have played a role in shaping public opinion in my troubled times. Today I am happy and joyful.
