It is reported that Tanima Afrad, an officer of the 35th BCS administration cadre, has served in the Gazipur District Commissioner's office as the last Senior Assistant Commissioner (Education and Welfare Branch) since July 28, 2023. In a notification of the Public Administration Ministry on September 4, he was appointed to the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner's office for posting as UNO. Before this, he served as Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Sherpur Sadar and Brahmanbaria District Commissioner's office. He joined government service on April 2, 2017. His village home is Manohardi upazila of Narsingdi.
It is to be noted that UNO SM Imam Razi Tulu has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner in Panchagarh District Commissioner's office in a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration. Tanima Afrad replaced SM Imam Razi Tulu as UNO.
