In the new feature, the iPhone reboots itself. Because of this, collecting information from the phone has become more difficult than before.

After the update was rolled out, police in Detroit, Michigan noticed that some iPhones reserved for forensic testing were rebooting on their own. As a result, it becomes more difficult to break the phone's security and collect data.
According to a report by research firm 404 Media, police initially thought that Apple might have done something by which the iPhone could be rebooted by receiving a signal from another device. However, cyber security researcher Ziska said that the new feature is not related to the network. The function of the 'inactivity reboot' feature is that if the iPhone is not unlocked for a certain period of time, it will automatically reboot.
When an iPhone is not unlocked for four days, the new feature automatically reboots the phone. As a result, even if the thief or the police somehow unlocks the phone, after a while the phone will be locked again.
There are basically two types of encryption on iPhones. When the phone is locked, it is in maximum security mode. In this situation it is almost impossible to steal data from the phone. But when the phone is unlocked, it is possible to steal data from the phone using special tools. The new feature keeps the phone always in maximum security mode. As a result, the possibility of data theft is greatly reduced.
Earlier in 2016, Apple refused to unlock an iPhone for the FBI. Since then, Apple has strengthened their security even more. So that user information is more secure than ever before.
