Jumbangla Desk: Managing Director (MD) of private television Desh TV Arif Hasan has been arrested by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Intelligence Division (DB).

On Saturday (November 16) night, he was arrested from his home in the airport area and taken to the DB office on Minto Road.
Additional Commissioner of Police (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallick confirmed this information to the media.
Arif Hasan is the Managing Director of Desh TV and the leader of Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO).
According to police sources, Arif Hasan has been arrested in an attempted murder case at the airport police station. The case was filed on July 19.
