Anwar Ibrahim said, Malaysia will not recognize Israel. Rather, it will support the Palestinian people . Aid to the Palestinians. At the same time, there is no chance of changing diplomatic relations with Israel.

He made these comments at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) press conference last Friday in the Latin American country of Peru, local time.

Anwar Ibrahim said Malaysia was the only country to question Israel's increasing violence against Palestinians at this year's APEC summit.


He said that more than 45,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks for more than a year. More than one lakh people were injured. In this situation, different countries of the world have proposed a ceasefire, but Israel does not accept it. In addition to Palestine, the war has also spread to Lebanon. Israel is constantly conducting airstrikes there as well.

The Malaysian Prime Minister also said, "How can we talk about the economy and free trade if the rights of a nation are denied?" It is a matter of justice.

Anwar Ibrahim also said that Malaysia will continue to support the Palestinians wherever needed.
