International Desk: The country's Union Home Minister Amit Shah has alleged that 'infiltrating Bangladeshis' are marrying tribal women in Jharkhand, India. He claimed that the chief minister of the state, Hemant Soren, had allowed Bangladeshis to marry tribals.
According to the Indian media Times of India, former BJP central president Amit Shah held a public meeting in Dumka, Jharkhand on Saturday. There he said, 'Hemant Soren is responsible for the decline of tribal population in Jharkhand. He allowed Baladesi infiltrators to marry tribal women. They (Bangladeshis) are grabbing tribal lands, which will not be tolerated.'
Former BJP president said, 'Hemant Soren is trying to give quota benefits to Muslims through the back door to get the support of Congress. I warn that BJP will not allow such plans of Hemant Soren and Rahul Gandhi to succeed.'
Amit Shah assured that if the BJP wins, many industries will be set up so that the youth of Jharkhand will not have to go elsewhere in search of jobs.
It should be noted that the assembly elections are going on in Jharkhand. The first phase of the election was held last Wednesday. Hemant Soren's party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and BJP are contesting in this election. Champai Soren became Chief Minister from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha when he was jailed for corruption. However, he is choosing to change the party for BJP.
