International Desk: Police have arrested a person for killing his own son. The 14-year-old Tejas was brutally murdered by his father for minor crimes like not going to school and neglecting his studies. The unfortunate incident took place in Bangalore, India. The incident, which took place on Friday (November 15) night, has created excitement and outrage across the city.

The Hindustan Times reported on Indian news outlet Deccan Herald that Tejas' father was angry because of his non-attendance at school, apathy towards studies and associating with 'bad boys'. Confirming the incident, a police officer told the Deccan Herald, 'The reason behind the death is probably not going to school and not studying.'

A case under Indian Act BNS has been registered at KS Layout Police Station. Police are investigating the incident further, and are continuing to investigate for details.
