Jumbangla Desk: Lately, it is being observed that some unscrupulous persons and self-interested circles are using the names of senior army officers to resort to fake business ownership and other fraudulent activities, which are tarnishing the image of the army.
In a press release today, the Directorate of Inter-Army Public Relations said that the Bangladesh Army is tirelessly performing its duties in the industrial areas only to control the law and order situation and ensure a productive working environment. It is not within the purview of the Army to make any recommendation regarding the industrial factory or any other business.
In view of this, any person or group trying to get any illegal business or unethical privileges in the industrial area by using the name of any army officer is requested to lodge a complaint on the following number for taking legal action against them:
