International desk: Saudi Arabia has announced a ban on the use of religious symbols in commercial fields. Besides, the country has also banned the use of symbols and logos of any country and symbols of religious and sacred things in commercial matters.

The country's Minister of Commerce. Majed Al Kasabi said, this decision has been taken in the light of Saudi's commitment to protect the sanctity of these symbols.
The directive states that national, religious and sacred symbols shall not be used in any kind of publicity campaign and other commercial matters.
Action will be taken against those who disobey this directive according to Saudi law. The directive will come into effect 90 days after its publication in the official gazette. Within these 90 days, violators will be given an opportunity to rectify. In other words, those organizations that have religious symbols in their activities will be given the opportunity to change them.
The Saudi Ministry of Commerce said that the use of the Saudi flag in commercial affairs is already prohibited. Kalema is engraved on this flag. It also has a palm tree and two sword symbols.
In addition, the new directive also prohibits the use of the names and images of Saudi leaders on printed items, other items, gifts and promotional materials.

Meanwhile, an object resembling the Kaaba was displayed on stage at a cultural event in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Artists were singing and dancing on that stage. One such picture went viral on social media. Strong criticism started on this. After that, such instructions came from the Saudi side. However, it is not clear whether this decision was taken after the incident.
