Jumbangla Desk: The students of Dhaka University (DU) have warned to give a strict program if the affiliation of 7 colleges is not cancelled. They said this at a press conference at Madhur Canteen on Sunday afternoon.

They said, ' Dhaka University administration has failed to provide facilities to 43 thousand students. There they took responsibility of 2 lakh 67 thousand students of seven colleges. We have to be deprived because the administration and teachers of our university are busy with various matters of seven colleges.'

DU students have requested the university administration not to work on seven colleges in the new academic year and say, 'If seven college students are admitted again in the academic year 2024-25, the administration will be held accountable. If seven colleges are not cancelled, a strict program will be given after the examination.

Claiming that the self-respect of DU students is being eroded due to seven colleges, they said, 'Seven college buildings cannot be constructed in DU premises. DU students will not accept any farce. If the demand is not met, the DU administration will be pressured from the streets. Raju, VC office, Registrar building will be locked. A stricter program will be given if needed.'
