Pakistan gained confidence by winning the ODI series. The team was hoping to defeat Australia in the T20 series at their home ground. But that didn't happen anymore. Babar-Rizwan lost the first two matches of the three-match series. This time they lost by 7 wickets in the match to avoid whitewash.

Pakistan's acting captain Salman Agha won the toss and elected to bat at Hobart's Bellerive Oval. Mohammad Rizwan, the regular captain of the white ball, was rested in this match.

However, like the previous two matches, Pakistan did not have any momentum in batting this time. After winning the toss and batting, their innings ended in 18.1 overs. Total 117 runs with all wickets lost.

However, former captain Babar Azam gave a good sign when he came down to start the innings. He scored 41 runs off 28 balls. But the other batsmen of the team could not continue that trend at all.

Among the 11 batters, except for Babar, only three batters got double-digit hits. Pacer Aaron Hardy took 3 wickets for 21 runs for Ajid. Two wickets each went to Adam Zampa and Spencer Johnson.

Australia stumbled at the start of batting with a target of 118 runs. 2 wickets for 30 runs. However, Marcus Stoinis brought Ajid to the port of victory by playing an unbeaten innings of 61 runs with 5 fours and 27 balls.

Shaheen Afridi, Jahandad Khan and Abbas Afridi shared three wickets for Pakistan.
