On Monday, the chairman of the International Criminal Tribunal, Justice Md. A three-member tribunal headed by Ghulam Mortuza Majumder passed the order.

Earlier, Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam asked the court for time to complete the investigation of the case against Sheikh Hasina. The tribunal wants to know at this time 'Where is Sheikh Hasina?'

Then Tajul Islam said that Sheikh Hasina ran away on the day of the mass coup on August 5. We have come to know through law and order forces that Sheikh Hasina is currently staying in India. Steps have been taken to bring him back through Interpol. Besides, the government will request India to return Sheikh Hasina as per the prisoner exchange agreement between India and Bangladesh.


Later, the tribunal ordered the investigation against Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader and 46 people to be completed within a month in the two cases filed on the charge of crimes against humanity in the July-August massacre. It has been asked to submit the report on December 17 after completing the investigation.

Besides, 13 people, including Anisul Haque, who appeared in the court, were arrested in the tribunal case and ordered to be detained in jail.
