Lifestyle Desk: From morning to evening people enjoy numerous blessings of Almighty Allah. It is everyone's duty to be thankful for these blessings. In a hadith, the Prophet (PBUH) said to express gratitude for blessings by reciting a prayer. The supplication is: Allah
prayer
Pronunciation : Allahumma ma asbaha bi min nimatin au biahadin min khalqika faminka wahdaka, la sharika laka, falakal hamdu wa lakash shukru.
Meaning: 'O Allah, the blessings that I and any of Your creations are enjoying are from You alone. You don't have a partner. So praise be to you and thanks be to you.'
On the authority of Abdullah bin Ghannam al-Bayazi, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever recites the above-mentioned supplication early in the morning (from sleep) is grateful for the morning." One who reads it in the afternoon will give thanks for the night.' (Abu Dawud, Hadith No: 5073; Ibn Hibban, Hadith No: 861)
