Sports Desk: With the approval of the International Tennis Federation and under the management of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group-5 tennis competition will be held in Isha Town from November 18 to 24. The Bangladesh team left Dhaka for Bahrain on Monday to participate in it.

Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Laos, Macau, Maldives, Mongolia, Yemen, Nepal, Tajikistan, Guam, Turkmenistan, Northern Marina Island and Philippines Davis Cup teams will participate in the competition along with host Bahrain.

Captains meeting will be held on November 19. The teams participating in the captains meeting will be divided into 4 groups and the group stage will be played on a round robin league basis. Later, the two teams will be promoted to Group-4 by playing between the group champions and both teams will compete in the 2025 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Region Group-4.
