Jumbangla Desk: Professor Dr. Salimullah Khan said, 'Now we have the freedom to die. Think if you have any other freedom . What happened to equality after Bangladesh became independent? Human dignity has been destroyed.'
He said these things in the chief guest's speech at the discussion meeting organized in the eleventh class freshman recruitment ceremony on Monday (November 18) at the government Harganga College ground in Munshiganj.
He said, 'Torture, disappearance, murder, crossfire gun fight increased or decreased in Bangladesh? Then teach our students about the rights and duties? The three declarations of the 1971 Liberation War were to establish equality, human dignity, and social justice. We moved away from that. Our young students of this era have proved with their lives and the people of the country with their all-out support that our state cannot be lost.
He also said, then this is the struggle to form a new state. Rather than calling for new freedom, we should say that we have given our life back to the struggle to regain our lost freedom. We need to give more life. But we will not lose our freedom. So what is the need for freedom?
