Jumbangla Desk: Newly appointed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Md. Nasir Uddin said, our intention is correct. We want to give the nation a free, fair and transparent election. And I will do whatever is necessary for this fair election.

He said these things in response to questions from reporters after taking oath on Sunday (November 24).

Earlier, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) along with the remaining four Election Commissioners (EC) of the newly constituted Election Commission took oath today at noon. Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed administered the oath to them at the Judges Lounge of the Supreme Court.
