The incident started last Thursday (November 21). Students of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College formed a human chain over the alleged wrongful treatment and death of their classmate. The human chainers alleged that at that time, some students wearing the dress of Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College attacked the human chainers. Around 30 people were injured on both sides.

Sunday (November 24) due to this incident Dr. The students of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College first blocked the main gate of National Medical College and later vandalized it by entering Suhrawardy College.

While vandalizing Suhrawardy College, they also entered inside the old building. At one point, they went up to the second and third floors and vandalized some departments. Zoology, Bengali and English departments of Suhrawardy College were the most affected at this time. Also, Tandab is conducted in every other department and lab. Necessary papers and documents are burnt with fire.

Meanwhile, after this incident, the Dhaka University affiliated first year examination held at Suhrawardy College Center started, but due to the attack and vandalism, the principal of Suhrawardy College, Professor Dr. Kakali Mukherjee canceled the exam.

Dhaka National Medical Institute Hospital Deputy Director (Administration) Dr. Rezaul Haque said that on the morning of November 16, a student named Abhijit Halder was brought to the emergency department. Dengue fever was diagnosed after the tests. Later, when he was admitted to the medicine department, he was given the necessary treatment. If the patient's condition deteriorates during the treatment, the patient is transferred to the ICU with the permission of the guardian and on the advice of the specialist doctor. But despite all the treatments and efforts of expert doctors, Abhijit died on 18th. But here there was no error or negligence on our part. Later, the hospital authorities completed the necessary post-mortem transfer process and informed the patient's relatives and the patient's entire bill was suspended.

Dr. Rezaul Haque further said that this death is due to the fact that the Center is giving deliberate misleading, false and inflammatory information to the students of Komalmati and trying to disturb the situation in the hospital. Which is disrupting the normal functioning of the hundred years old traditional institution and spoiling the internal environment. Which is by no means desirable.

Meanwhile, entering the Suhrawardy College campus, it can be seen that every building, department and office room has been ransacked. Suhrawardy College campus became a battlefield. About 30 students, including members of the Sohrawardy College Journalists Association, were injured. When an ambulance was brought to take the injured students to the hospital, they smashed it too. The students said that suddenly the students of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College broke the gate of our college and entered and ransacked. Everything that got in front was broken. Nothing left of the campus. With them they are looting. The inspection also found that all the cars of Suhrawardy College in the parking lot were broken.
