The deceased students of IUT are Mir Mozammel Naeem (23) son of Motahar Hossain of Masterpara area of ​​Feni, Jobair Alam Shakib (22) son of Jahangir Alam of Rajpara Dingab area of ​​Rajshahi and Mubtachin Rahman Mahin (22) son of Imtiazur Rahman of Rangpur Sadar.

The injured are Kabidul Islam Alif (22) and Nafiz Alam Khan (22). They are under treatment in hospital. All the dead and injured are third-year students of the university's Mechanical and Production Engineering department.

He also said, "The head of the three-member committee is - DGM of Zamirdia Masterbari Zonal Office of Bhaluka Upazila of Mymensingh. Mohiuddin Ahmed. The head of the investigation committee of eight members is the Chief Engineer of Rural Electrification Board. Abdur Rahim Mallik.”

Incidentally, 460 students of Islamic University of Technology were going to a resort in Gazipur's Sreepur on Saturday in six double-decker buses of BRTC. A picnic bus was electrified on the regional road of Udayakhali village in Telihati union. Three students were killed in this incident. Three more students of that university were injured. Soon after the incident, a four-member investigation committee headed by Additional District Magistrate of Gazipur Salma Akhtar was formed.
