Berobi Representative: Dawah Society has welcomed the first year (2023-24 session) students of Begum Rokeya University (Berobi) Rangpur.
On Sunday (November 24) at 2.30 pm, the organization welcomed them in the freshman reception ceremony which started at the university's Independence Swarak ground.
Maqbul Hossain, father of Shaheed Abu Saeed, inaugurated the program with a greeting speech. He said, Abu Saeed should get justice. Everyone should pray for Abu Saeed.
Arnab Roy, a freshman of Sanatan Dharmalabalambi economics department, who came to the freshman ceremony, said, I think we are all human beings regardless of caste, creed, caste, this is our biggest identity. It feels good to be a part of such a big event.
Hafez Mujahidul Islam, executive director of Bangladesh Dawah Circle, said that success in the world is not real success. Referring to the verses of the Quran, he said, if one wants to achieve success in the world, then after the Fajr prayer, one should seek sustenance in the world.
Dawah Society president Mosharraf Hossain presided over and General Secretary Bayezid Sikder moderated as the chief guest Professor Mokhtar Ahmed. Also, Bangladesh Dawah Circle Executive Director Hafez Mujahidul Islam, Engineer Imrul Kayes Parag, Khatib Abdur Rakib of Berobi Central Mosque and others.
On this occasion, 1000 fresh students of different departments were given Quran with money, a t-shirt, a key ring and a pen.
In the speech of the main speaker, Professor Mokhtar Ahmad told the fresh students that western culture should be removed from the university campus. Don't neglect the knowledge you must acquire. Abandon the blue culture that comes in universities. Physical drugs are now out in the open. Reject those who made them.
