Jumbangla Desk: Mobile operator Grameenphone has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Ericsson to integrate and innovate artificial intelligence (AI) and automation in Bangladesh.
Grameenphone said in a press release that a cooperation framework has been created between the two companies. The deal is aimed at driving innovation, growth and launch of cutting-edge AI and automation solutions.
The recently signed agreement will coordinate with industry partners, regulators and government agencies to accelerate sustainable innovation and growth in the telecommunications sector across the country.
Grameenphone's Chief Information Officer Niranjan Srinivasan said this partnership is a major step towards realizing Grameenphone's telco tech vision. Both Grameenphone and Ericsson are now leading AI.
