According to the latest published report, in the first 23 days of this November, 172 crore 63 lakh 50 thousand US dollars remittances have arrived in the country. In the same period of October, remittances to the country reached 172 million 27 million dollars. Accordingly, remittance flow has increased in this month.
According to the report, in the first 23 days of November, 63.99 million 20 thousand US dollars came through state-owned banks. Besides, 13 crore 10 lakh 40 thousand dollars came through specialized banks, 95 crore 13 lakh 10 thousand dollars through private banks and 4 million 80 thousand dollars through foreign sector banks.
Bangladesh Bank also said that between November 17 and 23, remittances to the country reached 47 crore 12 lakh 20 thousand dollars. From November 10 to 16, 60 million 140 thousand US dollars came. From November 3 to 9, 61 crore 25 lakh 80 thousand dollars came and from November 1 to 3, expatriates sent remittances to the country of 4 crore 24 lakh 10 thousand dollars.

After the formation of the interim government in the changed political context, expatriates sent remittances of 222 million 1320 thousand US dollars to the country last August. The highest remittance of the current financial year came to the country in the next month of September; 240 million 47 million 90 thousand dollars.
