Jumbangla Desk: RAB-7 has arrested Azizul Haque, a fugitive accused under warrant in Raujan, Chittagong. He was arrested from Kotwali police station area of the city on Sunday (November 24).
According to RAB-7, on the basis of the information that Azizul Haque, the absconding accused under the warrant of Raujan Police Station, is staying in front of Hotel Sonali of Kotwali Police Station in the city, he was arrested after raiding the area.
RAB-7 Assistant Director (Mass Media) ARM Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the matter and said that Azizul Haque had been hiding in different places of Chittagong district and city for 22 years to avoid arrest. 12 cases related to murder, weapons, kidnapping, theft and robbery have been found against him in Raujan police station.
He said that in the initial interrogation, top terrorist Azizul Haque admitted himself as a fugitive accused in the murder case. He has been handed over to Raujan police station for further legal action.
