Students of the institution, local residents and eager crowd were seen in front of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College on Monday (November 25) around 3 pm.

Hundreds of army, RAB, APBN and police personnel are there to control the situation. However, the students of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul Government College were not seen around.

Several students of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul Government College are reportedly trapped inside Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. When the joint forces tried to enter the Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College at 3:30 PM to rescue them, they faced obstacles from the students of the college. The joint forces could not enter the college till this report was written at 4:15 pm.

We tried to enter to rescue them. But the students have surpassed us. Later we contacted the college authorities. We have informed them.

Before this, a clash took place in front of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College with the students of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul Government College. In an instant, Jatrabari-Demra road turned into a battlefield. Several students were seriously injured in the clash.

Earlier, around 10 am, the students of various departments of Suhrawardy College gathered in the campus premises in a procession.

Later they came in front of Kabi Nazrul College with a procession. At that time, when the principal of Nazrul College asked Mike to calm down, the students of the two colleges started chanting 'fake, fake'.
Later, students attacked Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College near Demra Road with a protest march. At that time the students of Molla College clashed with them.

Suhrawardy College closure announcement


Meanwhile, the college authorities have announced the closure of the Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College due to the clash. The closure of the college was announced on Sunday (November 24) in a notification signed by the principal of the college.

According to the notification, due to unavoidable reasons, all classes of the college will be closed on November 25 and 26. However, ignoring this notice, thousands of students of seven colleges, including Suhrawardy and Kavi Nazrul, have been rioting at Mahbubur Rahman Molla College in Demra since Monday (November 25) morning. This has caused extensive damage to the infrastructure of the college.

6 platoon BGB deployment

DMP will sit with 3 colleges in the afternoon

Dr. The capital's Jatrabari has turned into a battlefield due to clashes between students of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College, Kabi Nazrul and Suhrawardy College. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will hold a meeting with the students of these three colleges in this incident. The meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday (November 25) afternoon.

Meanwhile, 11 people injured in the clash have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital for treatment. Many of them suffered head injuries.

The government urged the students to stay calm and not get involved in the conflict. The government has informed that if there is any kind of fuel behind these conflicts, it will be suppressed with strict hands.
