In an interview given to the news agency Tasnim, he said that Iran will respond with the aim of building resistance.
Iran has previously announced that it will take action in retaliation for the October 26 Israeli attack on its military installations. The attack was in response to nearly 200 ballistic missiles launched from Iran on October 1. Iran's missile strikes did relatively little damage to military installations in Israel, but hit some residential areas. A Palestinian was killed in the West Bank. Iran claims the attack was in retaliation for the killing of the leader of a Tehran-backed armed group and a commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
