The two arrested are Noor Mohammad and his wife Rasheda Begum.

 

According to the police, earlier on Monday at Sadar Model Police Station. A person named Salim filed the case as plaintiff. Later, the two arrested in the case were sent to the district jail through the Lakshmipur court.


The arrested Noor Mohammad and Rasheda are residents of Paschim Charmansa village of Sadar Upazila and are members of the cheating gang. The plaintiff in the case is the son of Salim Charmansa village Nazir Ullah.


Thana police and victims said that an organization called 'Non-Violent Public Uprising Bangladesh' was supposed to hold a rally in Dhaka on Monday. They target the poor people of the village to make the rally successful and gather large numbers of people. In this, the organization appointed some representatives and lured the common people with interest-free loans. For that purpose, 1000 rupees were taken from each. In return, they were assured of a loan of one lakh rupees. Everyone agreed to go to Dhaka.


On Sunday night, 42 people were arrested from Azadnagar market of Ramgati upazila, 11 women from Karitla market area of ​​Kamalnagar upazila and 29 people from Bhabaniganj area of ​​Sadar upazila on the news of gathering to go to Dhaka. At this time, 6 buses and 4 microbuses were seized.


Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) AB Chiddik said that 29 people were arrested from Bhabaniganj area. Among them 27 victims. Two were identified from there. Later, a case was filed against them at Sadar Model Police Station. At this time, a bus of Jonaki Transport was seized. The incident is under investigation. Others involved will be brought under the law. He avoided the detention and seizure in other police stations showing the interest of the investigation.


Incidentally, a social organization called Non-Violent People's Uprising Bangladesh announced that it will hold a solidarity rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on November 25 to demand the formulation of a special anti-corruption law.
