Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, the head of the Public Administration Reform Commission, has expressed his fear that if the administration is not reformed at all levels, there may be a revolution again. He said, nothing much happened in this revolution, if there is to be a revolution again, it will be in a more terrible form.

The head of the commission expressed this fear during the briefing of journalists at the Rajshahi District Commissioner's office on Tuesday afternoon. Earlier, the Public Administration Reform Commission held an exchange meeting with the administrators (DCs) of eight districts of Rajshahi division and government officials at various levels in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

Abdul Mueed Chowdhury also said to the officials that now people are not like before. When something happens somewhere, people immediately surround it. The current thinking of people, it will not happen if they sit and wait for the law. I have to take care of myself. We must try so that people do not take the law into their own hands.

Regarding the complaint of inter-cadre discrimination by various cadre officers, he said, cadre discrimination is not our subject; But it is not so that I will close my eyes and ears. When they discuss with us, maybe we can give some opinion to the government. The power is not ours, the power belongs to the state. If I use this power to show my power then the state will suffer.

On the question of political considerations in the promotion of government officials, the head of Public Administration Reforms Commission also said that it is not right. I have worked in different governments. I have never compromised on anything. I have also become a secretary. If someone thinks that I will become a secretary after entering the administration cadre, that is a wrong idea. That's where the problem begins. Work, if qualified will definitely be considered.

At this time, the member of the Public Administration Reform Commission and the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration. Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman, member of the commission Professor Dr. Syeda Shahina Sobhan, student representative Mehdi Hasan, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir was present.
