Pakistani singer Atif Aslam will sing in a concert at Dhaka's Army Stadium on November 29. CID has arrested a person named Arif Arman (30) on the charge of stealing the information of the ticket customers of the concert titled 'Magical Night 2.0'.
Yesterday (November 26) Monday night, 'Ticket Tomorrow' platform confirmed this information to Jago News.
According to the agency, CID's Cyber Intelligence and Risk Team has arrested Arif Arman (30) for his alleged involvement in the cyber attack on 'Ticket Tomorrow' platform. 'Ticket Tomorrow' claimed that Adventur Global Limited and its sister concern Ticify were involved in the incident.
They said the cyber attack happened on October 23. It leaked the names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers of customers who bought concert tickets. The Cyber Intelligence and Risk Team of CID uncovered the matter.
Arrested Arif Arman narrated the incident in a statement. He is the brother-in-law of Adventurer Global Limited Chairman Mozammel Haque Johnny. In a phone conversation with Triple Time, Tikify official Abdullah Al Mamun admitted these activities. Both of them are currently staying in United Arab Emirates. The process of repatriating them quickly is underway.
According to Ticket Tomorrow, the purpose of the criminals was to damage the reputation of Triple Time Communication and Ticket Tomorrow by focusing on the Magical Night 2.0 concert to be held at the Bangladesh Army Stadium on November 29. They claimed that the attack was planned as a revenge move.
According to the CID, they used a fake account to capture the information of the customers who bought the tickets. The CID suspects that partners and employees of Adventur Global Limited and Ticify may also be involved in the incident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and all the accused will be brought to justice soon.
