The members of BDR Kalyan Parishad Gazipur district branch formed a human chain to demand a fair investigation into the Pilkhana murder and the release of innocent BDR members and reinstatement of all dismissed BDR members.

On Wednesday (November 27) in front of the Gazipur District Commissioner's office, the sacked BDR members and their family members held this program on Rajbari road.

Advocate Abdul Aziz, the convenor of Oikya for the establishment of justice in the Pilkhana massacre, spoke in the human chain under the chairmanship of Senior Habildar Abul Kashem of 21 Rifle Battalion as the chief guest.

The speakers in the human chain demanded re-investigation and trial of the Pilkhana massacre to ensure the punishment of the killers and to declare the martyred army officers, martyred BDR officers and other martyrs in the form of gazettes by the fascist government in the Pilkhana incident on 25 and 26 February-2009.

Advocate Riazul Saleh Mishuk, lawyer of Gazipur Judge Court, Nasir Uddin, Coordinator of Gazipur District of BDR Kalyan Parishad, Lance Naik Harun Or Rashid of 4 Rifles Battalion, Shanto Islam, Mehdi Hasan, Tauhidul Islam and others also spoke in the human chain.

At that time, dismissed BDR members, family members of BDR members were present.
