In this incident, Mustafa Saryar Faruqi, the advisor and producer of the Ministry of Culture Affairs of the Interim Government, mentioned in a post that the law and order forces are enough to catch the criminals in the case of the lawyer's murder.

Faruqi wrote in the post, 'I would ask those inside and outside the country who are playing the harp to destabilize Bangladesh, just remember the scene of Hasina's escape.'

It is learned that on Tuesday around 4:15 PM, ISKCON followers started attacking various institutions in the Chittagong court area and lawyer Saiful Islam Alif stopped them. He was then picked up and taken in front of Rangam Tower opposite the main gate of the court. ISKCON members hacked Saiful to death there. Saiful was rescued in a serious condition and taken to Chamek Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

The deceased Saiful Islam Alif was a resident of Chunati area of ​​Lohagara upazila of Chittagong district. His father's name is Jalal Uddin. Saiful Islam became a member of District Bar Association in 2018. Later he got registered as High Court advocate. Recently he was appointed as Assistant Public Prosecutor of Chittagong Court. He was a student of Chittagong International Islamic University.
