A lawyer has appealed to the High Court to ban ISKCON. In view of which the Attorney General was summoned to the court on an urgent basis to get the opinion of the state side.

Attorney General came to the court and said, like the people of the whole country, his heart is bleeding. But the court should not take any decision on this matter now. Because the government has already started taking measures. It is now the number 1 agenda for the government.

Later the High Court said, let us know the details by afternoon. Attorney General said, give me one day. I will tell you about this tomorrow, it will not be possible today.

Later the High Court said that it is ok to give a report by tomorrow. But take care that the law and order situation does not deteriorate in any way.

Incidentally, ISKCON followers of law enforcement and lawyers in Chittagong beat and hacked a lawyer to death.

Yesterday on Tuesday around 4:15 pm, when ISKCON followers started attacking various institutions in Chittagong court area, lawyer Saiful Islam Alif stopped them. He was then picked up and taken in front of Rangam Tower opposite the main gate of the court. ISKCON members hacked and injured Saiful there. Saiful was rescued in a serious condition and taken to Chamek Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
