Jumbangla Desk: An Awami League leader is the owner of the truck that hit a private car belonging to anti-discrimination student movement convener Hasnat Abdullah and National Citizen Committee member Sarjis Alam . That leader has been on the run since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government.
Chittagong University Coordinator of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Khan Talat Mohammad Rafi gave this information live from his personal social media (Facebook) account on Wednesday (November 27) night.

He said, 'We seized the truck. When we asked the driver and the helper of the truck, why was the car pressed? Then they kept saying - I pressed, what to do? kill? killed Jail? give.'
Rafi said, 'We don't know how much our security is. No day, no night, we are running. When there are problems, we go and talk. We are working from our place. But some quarters have been rising up to harm us since the beginning till now. And you saw the reflection of that today.'
It is known that the truck hit a private car belonging to Hasnat and Sarjis at the junction of Haji Street in Chunti Union on the way back from the janaza and burial of Saiful Islam Alif, a lawyer of Chittagong court. The front end of the private car was damaged. The overturned truck has been seized and kept at the police station. The driver has also been arrested. The arrested truck driver's name is Mujibur Rahman (40). His house is in Bailor village of Trishal upazila of Mymensingh.
Confirming the arrest of the truck driver, Lohagara police station duty officer ASI Hanif said that the truck driver and the helper are being interrogated now.
